My Review:

This is the final book in this series. It didn't let up or fall short of the mark either. Every major thing that I had questions about from the prior books, this author gave me answers to those. In addition to that, Urban really shines in this final chapter. The transformed lives in this series stick with you. It's fantastic for discussions and pondering the what-ifs and the questions of how we might have reached this place in some form, already in today's world. The action and suspense, while having us so hooked on Urban Lee's journey, are amazing and well worth reading. I feel blessed to have read this series and I can easily recommend it.

My Review:

Mentink has given us another great book to read. This is the start of a new series, and it's explosive. Yes, even molten, as I found my breath held more than once while Kit struggles to figure out why her rig is wrecked, whose baby she has with her, and why she's now pretty much stranded, and the volcano is about to erupt. This book has so much suspense and so much faith built into it. Cullen is a saving grace. He's on the right side of the law, and he believes that he needs to help Kit and protect this unknown baby, but it's not simple. Not at all simple. There's a mystery, and a killer, and nature itself is bent on destroying their very lives if they can't get to safety. The romantic suspense and faith are top-notch in this story, easily sucking me into this new series and happily awaiting more.
