Secrets can be very heavy things, as Perla well knows. Ella is her Granddaughter and Perla isn't in good healthy. Time and weighty matters have taken their toll on her body in the form of a stoke. Ella is ready to share her secrets, and so is Perla. The secrets were strong, the romance was just fine and Ella and Perla  simply made this book.

This book is the third book in this series. While it can feel a bit slow at times, that is consistent with the rest of the series. I don't feel that is so much slow, as just that slower pace of days-gone-by that people aren't use to anymore.
