All Readers...
Grab this one and hang on for a great story/ride! Yep, here I go again... I want book one, and I want to read the next book in this trilogy. Fear not being lost though, Mr. Wilson's Haunt Of Jackals will not have you lost with out having read the first book. Turns out book 1 in this series puts forth the premise of the other dead that rose when Christ rose from the grave. That carries forward into the this book. There are two groups of immortals, locked in the age old fight of which Master they server, Christ or Satan. Humans in a state of transformation and decision are mixed up in the middle of it all, as it seems we have been since God banished that one certain angel from Heaven back before any of us were born.
I have a little bit of this book left that I "saved up". I am not passing out a single spoiler!
Go get a copy and your favorite drink and be prepared!

I think Wilson did a good job reintroducing characters in the second book; though the preface is very useful to readers who didn't catch the first book, they could probably dive right in without it, and still find their way.

Thanks, Carol. I'm glad you enjoyed the book, and of course I hope you can go back and catch up before the third one comes out.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on some of the other blogs. Two or three bloggers seem to be dominating the conversation with their critiques--many of them fair enough--but it'd be nice to hear some of the positives from someone. I don't mind the negatives, but it seems like most of the bloggers have focused on that.
