Hi Readers! 

This was an in-depth book that was just wonderful. Brill and Kurt's situation was a wonderful story of its own, that was only more dramatic while placed into the setting of Brill's work as a Police Chief. The suspense of the book was just right! It never let up, but it also never got so thick that you couldn't keep up with it either. I really did enjoy this book, and I wouldn't mind reading the next book in the Sophie Trace series! I also liked how Mrs. Herman created Sophie Trace. I grew up very near to Tennessee, so I really liked the setting for this book.

A Cousin's Promise By Wanda Brunstetter

Hello My Readers! 

A nice fast easy going read. The kind you can finish up in one afternoon and just smile about. This is my second book I have ever read by Wanda Brunstetter. She has the same relaxing easy reading style with this book as before. One thing I really enjoyed about the book was the baby lamb who lost a leg. Why? Well, not that long ago one one of my Pomeranian moms had her first litter. She panicked with the first baby and something I have never had happen before happened. The first born little girl lost her leg, from the knee down! What is so ironic is that we called her Tripod for quite a while. Then I sort of wondered if it sounded mean, to name her after a camera tripod, though both are 3 legged, and we started calling her Trixie. Much like the lamb also named Tripod in this book, my little gal has thrived. There is life after accidents. There are reasons God walks us through the valley of the shadow of death.  If you get a chance to read this book, do so! I was in one store tonight and saw it there for sale for under $7.00! You just can't beat that!

Hunter Brown and the Secret of the Shadow by The Miller Brothers

Hello Readers! 

Again, a WONDERFUL WONDERFUL read! I really enjoyed this book so much! I have so many favorite parts, but the first one that stuck into my mind was when Hunter is being told about Author. I simply loved that because the minute I read it in the book, into my head popped how God is the Author and finisher of our faith. Things that like that never stopped coming to my mind as I read this book. It is an enticing story that just keeps getting better and better as you read. ;) I am not going to tell you too much about it, because I do want you to read it!!! I will tell you this, you will be wishing you had read it, and wondering if you are a Codebearer or not until the day you read this book and find out what is truth, and what is fiction.

Breach Of Trust by DiAnn Mills

Hi Readers,

This was such a good book that I was even dreaming about it at night! This is a really wonderful read. I would say that this book is akin to a really good CSI or Law and Order-ish type show. It was just fun and fascinating, with lots of deep emotion, and a wonderful plot!

Cyndere's Midnight By Jeffrey Overstreet

Hello to my Readers! 

I realize I am a bit late. :( I got caught in a bad rain storm coming back from town several hours ago. Since I have satellite internet, I then wound up with out 'net till now! So now here I am! But I am sure it isn't midnight some where, so maybe I am not too late! 

This was a wonderful book! I had just joined this group when I missed the first book,  Auralia's Colors . When the sequel came in, I couldn't stand it! I ordered Auralia's Colors as quickly as I could! I found it to be a really wonderful book, and I am so glad I got to read it before reading Cyndere's Midnight because I felt like I knew so much more of the history that lead up and into this book. 

In  Auralia's Colors we met a girl with a fantastic gift, who doesn't know why she has this gift or exactly what the purpose is, only that she *must* use it. She made some friends and fans along the way and in Cyndere's Midnight some of them are included. The town/palace had changed to a neighboring one. Here another girl name Cyndere dreams of taming the Beastmen who raid and murder all across the lands between the kingdoms. 

Auralia's color gift now absent, Jordam, like the other Beastmen is in trouble. He is addicted to a drink, that is quite akin to a drug. When Jordam meets Cyndere he sees a kindred spirit. Cyndere is the last of a royal line, so she is ever guarded and ever alone and hurting over her life. Will Cyndere live to see the day when the Beastmen are free of their addiction and her heart doesn't hurt anymore? And where does the Ale Boy, who so cared for Auralia fit into all of this?

I am not going to tell you because I want you to read this book! It was wonderful! 

I am happily waiting for the third book. Mr. Overstreet's writing is different and refeshing.

Cyndere's Midnight reminds of me a pebble tossed into a pond. Let's watch where all the ripples lead.

Cry In The Night by Colleen Coble

Hi Readers! 

You know the draw back of living in the "sticks"? Satellite internet. It goes out when it rains! This, this will be short and sweet before it goes back out again! 

This book had a great pace too it. I enjoyed it! I like Bree as a character, and the way the author showed how it can be when we have to make a tough "Christian" discussion to do what is Godly. A great read for a rainy day- like today has been!

Attention all my Readers!!! 

YEAHHH! I am so glad I got to read this 3rd book in this series! They just keep getting better and better. I am already happily awaiting book #4!!! In fact this series has been so good so far that I have become a Robert Liparulo fan and I plan to buy all his other books one by one as I can! (That is going to be fun!) 

Here in "Gatekeepers", Xander, David, and Toria start to learn who, or what, they are really are. They are finding out more about why and how they are connected to the most unique, yet scary house I have ever read about! If it weren't enough to try to take care of each other, and retrieve their missing Mother, the Kings are find out that this house has powers that are more far reaching than anyone could have imagined. They have people seeking to help them and people seeking to destroy them. Jesse, a very elderly man who is there to help, or maybe not just confused matters even more for the young Kings. 

Figuring out who you can and can't trust takes some of us a lifetime, but the King's don't have a lifetime to sort out this mess. No indeed, life isn't easy when you are living in a house that is full of gateways or portals to so many other times or worlds, and in them the knowledge of what is, or isn't to come!
