Gatekeepers (Dreamhouse Kings #3) by Robert Liparulo

Attention all my Readers!!! 

YEAHHH! I am so glad I got to read this 3rd book in this series! They just keep getting better and better. I am already happily awaiting book #4!!! In fact this series has been so good so far that I have become a Robert Liparulo fan and I plan to buy all his other books one by one as I can! (That is going to be fun!) 

Here in "Gatekeepers", Xander, David, and Toria start to learn who, or what, they are really are. They are finding out more about why and how they are connected to the most unique, yet scary house I have ever read about! If it weren't enough to try to take care of each other, and retrieve their missing Mother, the Kings are find out that this house has powers that are more far reaching than anyone could have imagined. They have people seeking to help them and people seeking to destroy them. Jesse, a very elderly man who is there to help, or maybe not just confused matters even more for the young Kings. 

Figuring out who you can and can't trust takes some of us a lifetime, but the King's don't have a lifetime to sort out this mess. No indeed, life isn't easy when you are living in a house that is full of gateways or portals to so many other times or worlds, and in them the knowledge of what is, or isn't to come! 

You have to read this one because this adventure just keeps getting better and better, and more and more interesting! Race you to reading the forth book, because "Timescape" is coming up!!!

The Centurion's Wife By Davis Bunn & Janette Oke

Hi there readers! 

This was actually a neat book. I found it hard to get into in places. I think that was because I was so tired when I was reading it. However, things I really loved about it was the way the Jewish culture was shown, and all the beautiful "what-ifs" of a person living when Jesus did and being close by when he died and rose again. That part was written beautifully!

The Book Of Names (Legends of Karac Tor) by D. Barkley Briggs


Hello Fair Readers! 

A wonderful tale, I can't wait to read more of this series! I was thrilled to find myself transported in a world with Fay Folk and Gnomes. I played with Gnomes and a real Gnome Home as a child. I adore how Mr. Brigg's worked in the Call Birds. I find so many wonderful parallels in this book that I could just go on and on for a long time yet!  I have a brother of my own, but that isn't the same as a pair of brothers, or even 3 brothers! However, I have spent a great part of my life with a pair of brothers, my first cousins who I am so very close to. In those ways I felt like I knew Hayden and Ewan were close to me as my cousins are. I really loved my time in Karac Tor. I look forward to going back there again, as soon as Mr. Brigg's writes another book!

Kiss By Ted Dekker and Erin Healy

Hello Readers! 

I have to say that I am becoming more and more of a Ted Dekker fan, and Erin Healy's additions to this book made it unlike the other Ted Dekker books I have read so far. And no, not in any bad ways! Mrs. Healy, I am sure, was instrumental in some of the female reactions in this book, and these two authors combined have written an excellent book! The suspense was just the right mix. The characters were also just right. They weren't too weak, nor too strong. I loved the twists and turns, it was a wonderful ride and I look forward to reading another book co-authored by this pair of excellent writers!

Lost Genre Guild - Website

Here Dear Readers is a huge amount of thinks to look up! 
Lots and lots of book reviews, books you can order, books you can read some of. PDF's and frankly there was so much I got lost a few times! LOL! 

"Lost Genre Guild" focus on books that have "Biblical Speculative Fiction". That means things that are what if you open your mind far enough to think about a book about another Planet? Time Travel? A Planet that hasn't been discovered yet? In my way of thinking, these books will have the what if these other planets know God? What would they know or not know? This little description is just a tiny part of  what "Lost Genre Guild" strives to bring their readers. 
The works they feature have entertainment with a Scriptural framework. In short, right up my "alley"! I love Sci-Fi, and always will! Somethings that are called "horror" to me are just people who are seeing in the Spirit realm more than others. But in my life, God is there in all of it. 

I would love to read some of the books listed on this site one day! 
Go check it out and see if you find a gem you were looking for that was "lost" before!

Dark Pursuit By Brandilyn Collins


Hi All! 

This was a nice read! Yes, plenty of suspense, even thought I sort of figured things out too soon. I do that, while 95% of the rest of the world, or even 99% don't! Kaitlin was a really good character, but I loved the premise of the "King Of Suspense" being in a situation where he wasn't up to par and yet was faced with his first real life murder issue! It was a very nice read.
