Shadows Of The Past by Patricia Bradley (A Logan Point Novel)

From the first few pages of this book, you will be intrigued. By the next few chapters, you will be totally drawn into the life of a lovely young woman striving to pull out answers from her past, while solving a murder. To top it off, she is being stalked. Black roses. Diamond bracelets. Even love notes about death.

The stalker is, she is quite sure, Nick's brother Scott, who is rather Goth. But Nick hasn't seen Scott in three years. He was in Taylor's class that she was teaching at the collage, but so many things just don't add up! After all, she is a very skilled criminal investigator, and Nick is a writer. That could make him safer, or more dangerous. As the evidence keeps pointing to Scott, are they both being played for a fool, or what is really going on here? Not all is ever as it seems in a crime investigation, much less ones where hearts are being played for as well.

Shadows of The Past is  face paced book that you will not wish to put down! It is a great first novel and I hope to be reading more of this series!

Psychology professor and criminal profiler Taylor Martin prides herself on being able to solve any crime, except the one she wants most desperately to solve--the disappearance of her father twenty years ago. When she finally has a lead on his whereabouts, Taylor returns home to Logan Point, Mississippi, to investigate. But as she is stalking the truth about the past, someone is stalking her.

Nick Sinclair pens mystery novels for a living, but the biggest mystery to him is how he can ever get over the death of his wife--a tragedy he believes he could have prevented. With his estranged brother the only family he has left, Nick sets out to find him. But when he crosses paths with Taylor, all he seems to find is trouble.

Join the chase as this determined duo search the murky shadows of the past for the keys to unlocking the present and moving into a future filled with new hope and love. Readers will be swept into the sultry South in this debut novel from a promising and already award-winning writer.
